Kosovo-Education Participation Improvement Project

GRANT AMOUNT:  IDA—US$ 4.5 million
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The objective of the project is to improve children's access and educational attainment at primary and secondary education levels.  The Project is expected to have three components, a school development grant component will provide funding to schools to achieve improvement of access and education attainment; a management information systems (EMIS)component will help strengthen and ensure the sustainability of the current EMIS; and aproject management component will support implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the project.  For more information, please call Miriam Van Dyck at (202) 458-2931, fax at 522-3362, or e-mail mvandyck@worldbank.org.
